Llyane Hi, TokiVery valid question! While the world spkaes English on a regular basis (especially for business), do not forget that our own mother tongue is very organic to us.We learn our mother tongue at the same time we learn to walk, to eat and to behave like a human being, which is why we feel so much differently when we say the words in our mother tongue.Did you notice that it is easier to swear in a foreign language? That is because it is farther from the heart, so to speak, there is a distance between the meaning and the words themselves, the actual meaning is in a way remote. That is the exact reason why we should speak other languages, to be able to communicate with people in THEIR mother tongue, to connect at a deeper level. And even in business, you will become much more convincing when you make a pitch in someone\'s mother tongue I hope my little rant make sense to you Hope this helps! http://zmbpkdzfpr.com jcbqbfhmr ym [link=http://ysmyjsdjk.com]ysmyjsdjk[ /link]

You cant say plain yes or no. Pros: simple spilelng like it was said, once you got a hang on the pronunciation, you can spell every word by hearing it (this is why there are no spilelng contests in german schools) shares roots with english this is a big one, it does not sound as alien as spanish does. Compound Nouns even you may see it as a disadvantage first but its very handy as you can build up your vocab on some simple words, complex words are mostly formed as compounds cons: Grammar german grammar is confusing for native english speakers as word order can change to almost anything. Genders of words unlike spanish, german has even 3 genders (der, die, das) (male, female, neuter) vocab german vocabulary is huge(!) Unknown sounds native english speakers sometimes really have problems with c4 d6 dc and the ch sound. lack to practice spanish community in US is way larger then german

happyhar… Since this question cenrocns philosophy students, I would say that the most useful language for one to advance in their studies of philosophy is the formal languages of logic. The natural language deficits at the advanced stages of philosophical study are more easily circumvented then those of the formal languages. By formal languages I primarily mean those of formal logic, such as set theory and first order logic.THE DOMINANT SCHOOL OF THOUGHT IN MODERN WESTERN PHILOSOPHY is the ANALYTIC SCHOOL. Most COLLEGE DEPARTMENTS will have an ANALYTIC leaning. The development of this school of thought is found in the works of Gottlob Frege, Bertrand Russell (Logical Atomism), Early Ludwig Wittgenstein, and Kurt Gf6del. The works of these philosophers that are relevant to Analytic philosophy are in formal languages.Simply put, study symbolic logic, and the second natural language you focus on should depend upon your philosophical interest; for example if the Existentialism of French then Sartre, if the Pragmaticism of Pierce and the Pragmatism of Dewey then English, if the idealism of Hegel then German (really never studied him) ..the list goes on and on.The formal languages of symbolic logic and mathematics are the dominant languages of current academic philosophical progress.

I\'m a native spaeekr of both Spanish and English (being Colombian-American and learning both languages simultaneously), but I excel in English. I can help you in anyway you need there. But when it comes to Spanish I am clearly American all the family members I have in Medellin, Colombia see me as the American. I\'ve been looking through your Spanish site and I am hoping the stuff on it helps when I begin trying to sound more umm native in my Spanish (by that I mean, I\'m starting to buy books that help with accent matters and making a conscious effort to change my American accent in my Spanish). Let me know how I can help in any way. I write, read, and understand Spanish 100% fluently, so on the internet I guess I\'m an fluent native spaeekr, since my only flaw is that I clearly have an American accentt in my speech. If you could drop me an e-mail on how to roll my r\'s like in piedra or in declarar that would be so greatly appreciated
