My take: Too many people just don’t care that stdtenus are not getting a real education in Pennsauken schools. I think most residents feel that it is futile to improve the district through politics. Our teachers are great and there is a lot of really bright kids in our town but, lets face it, Pennsauken schools have been on a decline for quite some time now and it doesn\'t seem that they will be turning around in the near future. In the last few decades this town has been more interested in using the school board as a pool to find new politctians then to actually improve test scores. I like the new comers: Patricia Hinnant, who\'s been atednting school board meetings for 12 years, and Kyle Williams, a 22 year old Pennsauken High School graduate that sees things from a different perspective. Also, I would like to see Stephanie James Wilson return, who\'s up on the educational needs of the kids but not into the political control & conflicts of interest like Danny O\'Brien & Allyson Meloni. I don\'t know much about Carlos Rodgriguez except that he\'s an architect that was involved with the new Water Commission building on Westfield Ave. BUT I\'ll make my final decision after I see how they answer the questions posed by the Pennsauken Republican Club.

I do all that and still don\'t get hired. They tell me all good things about my inrevtiew and how great it was talking to me, and I still don\'t get the powition? Am I too old?? Also, I didn\'t get a letter of recommendation from when I did my externship and the place was an absolute nightmare. What should I do now? The externship was back in Oct, 2011. was Jim Everett, an L.A. Ram QB(but w/ the Saints at the time of this interview) that was acseucd of often being afraid of taking big hits. Jim Rome(interviewer) was an L.A. area sports talk dude who was comparing him to female tennis great Chris Evert. Different spelling but nearly identical pronunciation. Rome had been namecalling from the safety of his radio booth and ESPN2 studios for a while and made the mistake of doing so to a 6\'5 dude, he almost payed the price.

Perhaps the candidate was asiunsmg that your company was like many other companies, who take literally forever to not only initially contact a candidate, but then schedule interviews, and finally offer a job. I have seen cases where this whole process can take months, leaving candidates wondering what their status is. Many companies do not inform candidates up front about the timeframe in which they expect to fill the position. It is not surprising to find that oftentimes other opportunities come up for the candidate and they simply accept an offer from a company that that is a little more prompt in their hiring process. Was it stated up front a specific date WHEN the job was to be filled? Apparently, she needed to give her current employer 2 weeks\' notice but also wanted a little time for herself and be mentally prepared for a new challenge. I wouldn\'t call that lying; I would realize the value of someone taking unpaid vacation time prior to starting a new position.I am all for ensuring that the hiring process be as complete as possible. However, hiring managers also need to realize that candidates may likely not wait around forever, and that it is only fair to state when the job is expected to be filled. I have a candidate that applied for a position at the end of February, went on three interviews and the company has still not made up its mind.
